Overview
The USMCA: Regulating Trade in North America
The USMCA requires companies to certify a product’s country of origin, meet a minimum percentage of material sourced from North America, comply with environmental and human rights protections, and meet a wage guarantee. Demonstrating compliance requires time and resources to collect data, contact suppliers, and organize information.
