Ottawa, ON, January 29, 2026 — Assent Inc. (Assent), the global leader in supply chain sustainability management, today announced the appointment of Anton Obbens as Managing Director for the European Region. A returning Assentee, Anton brings more than two decades of experience working with manufacturers across the region and previously spent four years supporting Assent’s EU customers. Based in Amsterdam, he will focus on strengthening customer relationships, supporting locally informed decision-making, and ensuring continuity as regulatory and supply chain demands continue to evolve.

As Managing Director for the European Region, Anton will work closely with regional Customer Success, Sales, Regulatory, and Product teams to ensure European customers continue to receive consistent support while benefiting from deeper local engagement.
This leadership appointment, along with Assent’s recent expansion into India through the launch of an Innovation & Technology Center in Pune, reflects a broader strategy to scale global operations and capabilities in support of its long-term growth.
