Michael Southworth is a lifelong innovator. Throughout his career, Michael has demonstrated a strong commitment to business transformation, team development, and stakeholder value. As CEO of Assent, he brings over 20 years of experience in high-performing technology companies to support Assent’s rapid growth, foster a performance-driven culture, and build our global team of supply chain experts.
Prior to joining Assent, Michael served as CEO of Babel Street, an industry-leading AI-powered data analytics company. He has also held top leadership roles at several successful technology firms. As President of Transflo, he led a digital transformation that accelerated the company’s growth in the transportation technology market. As Senior Vice President and General Manager at Verint Systems, he oversaw the business unit focused on conversational AI and advanced analytics solutions.
He has also contributed his expertise as a board member for the nonprofit organization Quality of Life Plus Program for veterans, working in service of injured veterans and first responders in the U.S.
