Assent LLC Notice Latest Update
Assent's Class A member, Online Securities Processing Inc., has granted an exclusive license to use the Anvil software, subject to certain terms and conditions, to Lightspeed Technologies.
In addition, Assent and Lightspeed's affiliated broker-dealer, Lightspeed Trading, have entered into clearing and sponsored access agreements, subject to certain terms and conditions, including such regulatory approvals as may be required.
Assent expects to continue to make the Anvil platform available for proprietary traders until July 16, 2010, by which time it expects to disassociate all Class B and C members and to terminate their respective proprietary trading accounts.

As part of our commitment to provide updates regarding Assent's decision to exit the professional trading business, please be advised that SunGard is in negotiations to license the Anvil platform and anticipates that, if concluded, any such deal would close prior to the previously announced exit date of June 30, 2010. Assent LLC Notice
We want to share with you some important news about SunGard's Assent broker-dealer.
Effective June 30, 2010, Assent intends to exit its professional trading business and plans to discontinue operations of its Anvil execution management system. Careful thought has gone into this decision, which has been driven by SunGard's Trading Businesses' strategy of focusing on expanding the Valdi global trading solution suite.
In connection with this decision, during the period leading up to June 30, Assent will begin an orderly wind down of the affected business.
Recognizing the industry leading technology that Anvil provides to professional traders, Assent has engaged in discussions with a small number of credible third parties regarding the possible acquisition or licensing of the Anvil platform. We will continue to provide updates as further decisions are made.
