As well, we also offer direct data feeds to those who operate automated trading vehicles. While these subscriptions aren't for everyone (the costs that the exchanges charge --- not Assent ---aren't inexpensive) they can make a big difference where it counts.
Please refer to the below table for the most current market data subscription fees. Such fees are subject to changes, as per exchange directives. In order to subscribe to one or more of these services, Assent customer traders will need to complete a Market Data Services Entitlement Request Form
, which is usually completed during the new account opening processes. This form is also used to make entitlement change requests for accounts which have already been opened.
Assent follows a "pass-through" model wherever possible, which provides that the monthly subscription costs for the various packages of market data are passed through to underlying trading accounts. Please be sure to speak with your Branch Office Manager should you have any specific questions about such charges as they are posted to your account.
When applying for one or more subscriptions, please keep in mind that each exchange requires its own subscription agreement. While the language incorporated within the terms and conditions of these various subscription agreements may appear very similar and formal, nonetheless, a subscription agreement is typically required for each service. Typically, subscriptions run through the month, such that cancellation requests can only be honored on a "next month" basis. Please refer to the exchange-controlled definitions and distinctions of a professional subscriber (proprietary traders, those who employ automated trading strategies, main accounts of LLC's, etc.), versus non - professional subscribers.
Please note that the table which appears below is only geared towards the "most common" market data feeds which are used by the trading community. In practice, many Assent traders also utilize one or more third party services, such as a charting package or news service.
